The Bistum Kimbe ( lat. : Dioecesis Kimbensis ) is in Papua New Guinea preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Kimbe .
history
Pope John Paul II founded the diocese with the Apostolic Constitution Cum ad provehendam on July 4, 2003 from the cession of territory by the Archdiocese of Rabaul , to which it was also subordinated as a suffragan diocese.
