The Bistum Kundiawa ( lat. : Dioecesis Kundiavanus ) is in Papua New Guinea preferred Roman Catholic diocese based in Kundiawa .
history
Pope John Paul II founded it on June 8, 1982 from cession of territory by the Diocese of Goroka and was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Mount Hagen as a suffragan .
