Donald Lynch

Donald Walton Lynch (born December 4, 1915 in Fort Benton , † December 4, 2007 in Riverside ) was an American scientist. He was a recognized agronomist who specialized in the ponderosa pine .

Life

Donald Lynch was the son of Austin Eugene Lynch and his wife Maud Mable, née Sullivan, and grew up on a farm in the northwestern United States.

In World War II, he last served as a lieutenant in the US Navy . In 1945 he married Edwina Sundholm (1919-2004). They met while studying at Duke University in North Carolina . A common son is the director David Lynch . Donald Lynch worked for the United States Department of Agriculture .

Donald Lynch's Leichman was buried in Riverside National Cemetery.
