Donato Seppi (born August 6, 1953 in Bolzano , South Tyrol ) is an Italian politician who represented the neo - fascist party Unitalia , which he co - founded, in the South Tyrolean state parliament and in the regional council of Trentino-South Tyrol .

biography

The owner of a company that is active in the construction industry, and former Alpini - officer was in 1995 for the National Alliance elected to the council in Bolzano. In 1996 Seppi founded the Unitalia party with some colleagues, of which he is the current chairman. The split took place due to the dissatisfaction of some party members with the results of the Fiuggi congress, where a more moderate orientation of the AN was decided. From 1998 to 2013 Seppi was the only representative of his party in the South Tyrolean state parliament and regional council of Trentino-South Tyrol. In the state elections in 2013 , he was no longer able to win a mandate as the top candidate of his party with 1.7% of the vote. In 2016 he was elected Mayor of the Trentino municipality of Ruffrè-Mendola .
