Donaustraße 52 (Oberndorf)
The core of the building at Donaustraße 52 in Oberndorf , a district of the Bad Abbach municipality in the Lower Bavarian district of Kelheim , was built between 1330 and 1350. The former farmhouse is a protected architectural monument .
description
The former stable house with a flat gable roof was built using the Jura building method . The two-storey core building from the first half of the 14th century was expanded to its present-day dimensions around 1450 to the west and around 1500 to the south. The standardization of the roof height took place around 1600. As is usual with a Jura house, the roof was again covered with limestone slabs.
In 2010 Christa Berghammer received the Medal of the Free State of Bavaria for the exemplary renovation of the monument.
Maria and Peter Schreyer, Christa Berghammer as well as Franziska and Alois Schröppel were jointly awarded the Lower Bavarian Monument Prize in 2010 for the exemplary restoration of the three listed Jura houses Donaustraße 38 , Donaustraße 52 and Donaustraße 56 in Oberndorf .
