Monument award of the district of Lower Bavaria

The Niederbayern District Monument Prize is awarded annually by the Niederbayern District for special merits in the preservation of an architectural monument .

Guidelines

The prize has been awarded annually since 2002 to owners or those responsible for measures for special services in the preservation of their architectural monument in Lower Bavaria. Essential criteria for the selection are "the technical quality of the measure, the financial commitment of the owner or the person responsible for the measure, the creativity in the implementation and the importance of the monument".

price

The monument award is endowed with 7,500 euros. As part of a small ceremony, the certificate and a glass sculpture will be presented that depicts a panther jumping - the heraldic animal of Lower Bavaria.

  • 2002: Stefanie Held for the renovation of a Hakenhof in Wifling 4, Bodenkirchen
  • 2003: Elsbeth S. Woody for the renovation of her property in Sillaching , Falkenberg municipality
  • 2004: Hans and Elisabeth Ossner for the exemplary renovation of the Art Nouveau villa in Velden
  • 2005: Theresia Decker and posthumously her husband Thomas for their outstanding services in terms of monument preservation for the preservation of the Train moated castle
  • 2006: Josef Filler for the renovation of his property, originally from the first half of the 18th century, in Englfing , Markt Schöllnach
  • 2007: Owners' association Franziska, Christian, Gerd and Manfred Brunner for the restoration of the Niederhaus Castle in Passau
  • 2009: Kößlarn Church Foundation and the Kößlarn Church Museum Association for the exemplary restoration of the Kößlarn Fortified Church
  • 2010: Maria and Peter Schreyer, Christa Berghammer as well as Franziska and Alois Schröppel for the exemplary restoration of the three listed Jura houses Donaustraße 38 , Donaustraße 52 and Donaustraße 56 in Oberndorf
  • 2011: Gertraud and Hansjörg Platscheck for the restoration of the "Imannhäusl" in Schimmelbach , Neureichenau municipality
  • 2012: Matthias Neumaier from Oberried in the Regen district for the restoration of the historic preservation of the grandparents' former stable house
  • 2014: Friends of the Historic Hien-Sölde Mitterfels Association V. for the renovation of the former farmhouse in Mitterfels
  • 2015: Winfried Warner and Karin Bölter (posthumously) for the renovation of the four-sided courtyard Denharten 1, municipality of Tann
  • 2016: Bürgerliche Heiliggeist-Stiftung Passau , which, in cooperation with public funding agencies and private sponsors, succeeded in preserving the profaned Heiliggeist Church as a testimony to the city's and cultural history.
  • 2017: Marlene Lex for the exemplary restoration of the former palace in Großköllnbach
  • 2018: Helga Grundner for the successful restoration of a former dayworker's house in Langenisarhofen.
  • 2019: Thomas Niggl for the renovation of the old Schiessl house in Kollnburg.
