The Donga is a river in Nigeria and Cameroon , and with the Benue , Ibi and Taraba one of the important rivers in the Nigerian state of Taraba .

The river has its source on the Mambilla Plateau in southeastern Nigeria, and is part of the international border between Nigeria and Cameroon. It finally flows into the Benue in Nigeria. The catchment area of the Donga is 20,000 km².
On average, the Donga has an outflow of around 1800 m³ of water per second.
There are three forest reserves in the catchment area of the Donga in the Nigerian state of Taraba: Baissa, Amboi and Bissaula River. They are located on the slopes and at the foot of the Mambilla Plateau, southwest of the Gashaka-Gumti National Park .

The flow rate of the river was recorded in 1977 at Ahua, about half of the catchment area in m³ / s.
