The church

The village church Tröbnitz is located in the municipality of Tröbnitz in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia . It belongs to the regional parish Tälerdörfer in the Eisenberg parish of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The Tröbnitzer church stands on the Pfarrberg next to buildings of the parish with hayloft and a community center.

history

The hall church , which dates back to the Middle Ages , has been expanded or rebuilt several times. The expansion from 1707–1708 is documented in writing, and in 1792 the church tower was erected on the west side.

Three-sided galleries are installed in the interior . They are two-story on the long sides. The altar relief made of sandstone in 1626 comes from the previous church, as do the tombstones of Albertine and Christoph von Meusebach from 1611 and 1612. The pulpit altar dates from 1708 and the font from 1886.

Organ and bells

By Christian Friedrich Poppe built organ was inaugurated 1778th

The bells were cast in Laucha in 1766 and in Erfurt in 1635 and 1920.
