Doris Anselm

Doris Anselm (* 1981 in Buxtehude ) is a German writer and journalist .

Life

Anselm grew up in Buxtehude. After graduating from high school , she studied cultural studies and aesthetic practice at the University of Hildesheim . She then completed a journalistic traineeship at the EMS Electronic Media School . From 2009 to 2018 she was a reporter for the radio station of Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg , and since 2019 she has been a weekly columnist for rbb-Inforadio . She also works for other radio stations, for example as an author and speaker of political glosses for Deutschlandfunk Kultur .

From 2013 Anselm published prose and poetry in anthologies and literary magazines . In 2014 she first won the “ Dichtungsring ” literary prize and then the “ Open Mike ”, one of the most important young talent competitions for German-language literature. In 2017, Luchterhand Literaturverlag published her first book, the book of stories, and at that moment my love for the counter-blow takes off . Skin friend followed in 2019 . The novel portrays a woman who decides to only address men herself.
