Doris Odendahl

Doris Odendahl , b. Robeller, (born June 30, 1933 in Stuttgart ; † June 14, 2013 in Sindelfingen ) was a German politician ( SPD ) who joined the SPD in 1969.

Life and work

Odendahl first attended high school and then trained as a clerk. She was a clerk specializing in sales, human resources and accounting and had several stays abroad. From 1967 to 1981 she was self-employed in the textile retail trade, from 1981 she was an organization clerk in a business consulting institute. She was also a member of the ÖTV and the Arbeiterwohlfahrt .

Political career

In 1969 Odendahl joined the SPD. From 1981 to 1989 she was chairwoman of the Böblingen district association , and she was also a member of the Baden-Württemberg state board . From 1971 to 1983 she was represented in the city councils of Böblingen and Sindelfingen . From 1983 to 1998 she sat in the German Bundestag .
