Dornebbe, Braker Sieltief and Colmarer Tief is a conservation area in the Lower Saxony town of Brake (Unterweser) and the municipality of Ovelgönne in the Wesermarsch district .

The landscape protection is about 33  hectares . It covers most of the 20.3 hectare FFH area of ​​the same name . The area has been under landscape protection since December 22, 2018. The responsible lower nature conservation authority is the Wesermarsch district.

The conservation area is located west of Brake (Unterweser). It represents the lower reaches of the Dornebbe (from about 1.5 km above the crossing through the state road 886 in the Neustadt district of Ovelgönner) and a short section of a ditch that runs towards it, the Braker Sieltief that becomes the Dornebbe up to the crossing through the federal road 212 and a Section of the Colmarer Tief (from about 1.2 km above the crossing through the state road 886 in the Ovelgönner district of Colmar to the confluence with the Braker Sieltief). The five-meter-wide bank area of ​​the waters is included in the landscape protection area. Here there are many riparian perennials and reeds . Trees that accompany water are only found sporadically.

The waters are the habitat of various mussels , including common pond clams , great pond clams , and painter clams . It is also the habitat of bitterlings and a walking corridor for mud whip and loach . The area is the feeding habitat of the pond bat and other bat species , including water bat , rough-skin bat and broad-winged bat .
