Dorothea Schüle
Dorothea Schüle (* 1970 in Pforzheim ) is a German painter who works in Düsseldorf and Berlin .
Schüle grew up in Vaihingen an der Enz in Baden-Württemberg and initially studied at the Stuttgart Art School from 1990 to 1991 . In 1991 she began her studies at the Art Academy in Münster , where she joined Professor Hermann-Josef Kuhna's class in 1992 . In 1995 she was made a master class student; In 1999 she graduated with an academy certificate.
The painter works in series of images and always seems to be oriented primarily towards everyday situations. However, based on the tradition of the Futurists , the works experience through targeted irritation, e.g. B. the perspective is of paramount importance. Schüle's work is supported by a strong expressiveness of color and is dedicated to the classic theme of still life.
