Dorothy Coburn
Dorothy Coburn (born June 8, 1904 or June 9, 1905 , Great Falls , Montana , † May 15, 1978 , Los Angeles , California ) was an American actress .
Life
She was the daughter of the actor Wallace Coburn (1872-1954), who appeared in Hal Roach films . So she probably found her way into the film business, because in the late 1920s she appeared in the films produced by Roach with Laurel and Hardy , mostly in the role of the quick-witted and attractive lady. Best known is her appearance as a nurse in The Unfinished Prefabricated House (1928). Shortly after the silent film ended, Coburn ended her film career and only worked as a riding double in westerns. She died in 1978 and was buried in the Grand View Memorial Park Cemetery in Glendale .
