The first season of the show, which aired February 15 through April 5, 2018, was won by Natalia Pliacam .; the second season, which aired from January 11 to April 5, 2019, was won by Angele Anang as the first victorious trans person in a drag race show.
format
The two Thai drag queens Art Arya and Pangina Heals , who are known as "RuPaul of Thailand", will be the moderator and permanent jury . In addition, two or three prominent guests in Thailand sit on the jury in each episode, some of whom have already appeared in the Maxi Challenge of the respective episode and interact with the candidates.
Drag Race Thailand contains a Mini Challenge, a Maxi Challenge, in which a candidate is declared the winner, and a Runway Challenge in each episode. After this, the jury's points for the Maxi Challenge and the runway are added together. The participant with the most points overall will be declared the winner of the Runway Challenge. However, the two candidates who are sent into a lipsync duel because of poor performance will be determined by the Runway Challenge alone. In this way, it can also happen that the winner of a Maxi Challenge has to enter the lipsync duel and can even be thrown out.
