The Drann (Slov. Dravinja ) is a right tributary of the Drava and the largest tributary of the Draunja in Slovenia . It is located in the historic Lower Styria region .
The Drann rises in the Bacher Mountains . While the upper course is a torrent that repeatedly causes flood damage, it already has a gradient of less than one percent at Zreče (German: Rötschach ) and forms clear meanders in the lower course .
