The Drehnaer See is a 226 hectare recultivated open pit lake in the place of the same name Fürstlich Drehna .
location
Half of it is located in the districts of Dahme-Spreewald and Oberspreewald-Lausitz in Brandenburg , west of Calau . The circle border runs roughly in the middle through the lake. The A 13 is to the east of the lake .
history
The lake emerged from a remaining hole in the Schlabendorf Süd open- cast lignite mine and was filled with water from the Spree between 1999 and 2011. The water level of the lake rose to 71.88 m above sea level in 2014 . NHN . The water is on the Schrake derived, so that the normal water level is reached by 70.50 meters.
