The house Drei Rosen is a listed town house in the Annaburg district of Stadt Prettin in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located at Hohe Straße 9 in the historic center of Prettin, on the east side of Hohen Straße. Immediately to the south of the house, Baderstrasse joins Hohe Strasse.

Architecture and history

The two-storey, representative building was built around 1725 in the Baroque style . On its west side, the nine-axis building is characterized by a three-axis central risalit crowned by a gable . The risalit is bordered on the side by colossal pilaster strips . In the middle there is a vase attachment . The facade is structured and decorated by stucco elements and plaster mirrors. There is a lateral limitation by colossal pilasters . The fantasy capitals refer to models from Dresden . On the facade facing Baderstrasse, the axes are separated from one another by colossal pilasters. The building is covered by a mansard roof . An adjacent economic wing dates back to 1692.

Stylistically, the architecture of the building is reminiscent of the works of Johann Christoph von Naumann .

In the local register of monuments , the building is listed as a community center under registration number 094 35267.

In the past, the address of the building was Hohe Straße 12.
