Three days awake ( spelling : DREI TAGE WACH /// ) is a German indie rock band from Hanover. The six-member formation was founded in 2008 and has so far released an EP and a studio album. Until July 2012 the band operated under the name Midas Inc.

Three days awake combine lyrical German lyrics with indie pop, rock and electro influences. The band stages itself live as a boy band with a commercial punk attitude.

history

Three days awake was founded in 2008 under the name Midas Inc. In 2009 the band released the Party Party EP . In July 2012, the sextet from Hanover renamed itself Three Days Awake.

The debut album Finally. was produced in the Hanoverian Horus Studios and released on CD, vinyl and digitally on May 3, 2013 on the Berlin label Dreiklang Music . This was followed by the single Keine Angst as the first release from the LP. As part of the release of Finally. were awake for three days with no fear u. a. "Newcomer of the week" at Putpat.tv. Furthermore, the band is featured on the sampler “Your voice counts!” Published in May 2014 under the patronage of the Brandenburg Prime Minister Dietmar Woidke . The choice is yours… from 16 in Brandenburg “with the song Neuland .

The band can look back on over 100 club and festival concerts. The biggest festival slots of Drei Tage Awake were u. a. the Open Flair Festival 2011 in Eschwege and the Fährmannsfest Hannover 2011 (both as Midas Inc. ) and the Kieler Woche 2013. In addition, the band opened the KWP Open Air 2009 for Manfred Mann's Earth Band as the winner of the Göttingen “Rock am Kaufpark 2009” . Important club concerts were support shows for Bakkushan 2010, Killerpilze 2011 and 5BUGS 2012 in the Hanover Music Center.
