Patrick Etolu
Patrick Etolu (born March 17, 1935 in Asingei , Soroti District , † December 23, 2013 in Soroti ) was a Ugandan high jumper .
He won silver at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Vancouver in 1954 .
1956 in Melbourne he was part of Uganda's first Olympic team. His twelfth place was the best of the three-man team.
In 1958 he was fourth at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Cardiff , in 1962 at the British Empire and Commonwealth Games in Perth ninth.
On November 4, 1956, he set a national record in Bombay with 2.03 m, which lasted until 1999.
