Dreiseithof Altserkowitz 1: homestead with gate system

In the 16th century, the Dreiviertelhufen-Gut, which was subject to interest and military service, was one of the 12 members of the Serkowitz old community (cadastral number 4) on the actual Anger, and the inn was the 13th member. In the course of that century, three more courtyards were added by dividing the land until the old parish (the "Fifteen") was dissolved in the 19th century.

description

Saying on the gable
Dreiseithof Altserkowitz 1: Barn rebuilt after 1990
Dreiseithof Altserkowitz 1: side building with Kumthalle

The small side building on the left gable facing the street is a two-storey plastered building with a tile-covered gable roof that rests on volute-decorated eaves cantilevers. Some half-timbering is exposed in the back of the building. There is also a small Kumthalle at the back . The initials J.G.S.and a date to 1845 are affixed to a keystone . In the street gable of the building there are two round windows at the top of the gable and below that at the level of the roof there is a twin arched window; all of these windows are framed by sandstone cladding. At the transition to the building shaft, above three rectangular windows, there is an inscription board with the inscription and the date

“Everything depends on God's blessing, and on his grace. Built by J. G. Schumann. 1856. "

The massive fencing with a gate system in the middle of the property on the street has two mighty gate pillars made of sandstone with cover plates, between which a two-winged wooden gate is attached. To the left of this is a stepped brick wall on a sandstone foundation; On the right, a plastered wall adjoins the gate pillar, in which there is a arched gate made of sandstones and a mighty keystone. There you can find the dates on 1717 with the initials MSas well as 1860 and J.G.S., possibly with one No.4, supplemented by one No.1. All of these latter inscriptions have been renewed. The gate is closed by a wooden door.

The barn at the back of the property was rebuilt after a fire in 1990. The three large gates have basket arches.

The former stable house on the right in the property has been heavily changed on the outside, which is why it is not listed. Inside there is a date of 1714, on the gable it is dated to 1861.
