Drejø is a Danish island in the " Danish South Seas " south of Funen . The island forms its own parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) Drejø Sogn , which belonged to Harde Sunds Herred in what was then Svendborg Amt until the Danish municipal reform of 1970 , then to Svendborg Municipality in what was then Fyns Amt , which was part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 has merged into the “new” Svendborg Municipality in the Syddanmark region.

The island has an area of ​​4.26 km² and 70 inhabitants (January 1, 2020). There is an unfired pier on the north coast and a ferry and yacht port on the south coast . From there there are ferry connections to the northeastern neighboring island of Skarø and to Svendborg on Fyn .

Drejø belongs to the Association of Danish Small Islands .
