Dresdner Demonen is a German television film by Carlo Rola from 2015. It is the first episode of the ZDF crime series Dresden Mord with Anja Kling and Lisa Tomaschewsky in the leading roles .

action

Twenty-three-year-old Nico Günther is killed in an explosion in a Dresden prefab apartment. His girlfriend Stefanie survives seriously injured. Chief Detective Bärbel Wallenstein expects a private surprise in her investigation. Her daughter Kim had applied for the office in Dresden and is now being introduced to her as a new colleague. Since there has been "radio silence" between the two for years, her mother is very surprised. Bärbel takes her daughter Kim with her to the new case.

The police found out from Stefanie's father that his daughter and her boyfriend were on drugs. The forensic examination confirms crystal meth in the body, but the victim was already dead before the explosion. Somebody broke Nico's neck and then turned on the gas tap on the stove. One of the first leads leads to the Czech Grigar, the “Little King” in the drug scene, who supplies his customers via a disco in Dresden. Although he and his organization are well known to the drug squad, nothing has been proven so far. So Kim tries on her own initiative and without discussing it with her mother to get to one of his dealers. This does not immediately bring the desired success, but with a bit of sophistication at least one man can be arrested who, after thorough interrogation, admits that Nico Günther “missed a rub” but did not kill him.

After Stefanie Koch can be questioned, the investigators receive a tip that prompts them to visit the victim's parents again. When they arrive, Grigar and his dealer Koma are also there, but they are hiding. Nevertheless, Bärbel and Kim become aware of them and can arrest both of them. Surprisingly, they discover a private drug laboratory in the Günther's gazebo. Nico's father had started to make crystal meth himself, with the aim of helping his son get off the drug and gradually reducing the dose. This does not, however, resolve the murder itself. At the end of the day, you can prove it to Stefanie Koch. She had attacked Nico in a drug intoxication and he had broken his neck after falling. In her distress she called her father who wanted to fake suicide with the explosion. He overlooked the fact that his daughter was still in the apartment because she was taking a bath.

criticism

Roger Tell from tittelbach.tv said quite appreciatively: “The ZDF is sending Anja Kling and Lisa Tomaschewsky, a new investigator duo, into the race for the audience on Saturday evening. Two like fire and water, there is teasing and pinching. A feeling for calculation, greed for life against restrained lust - the series draws its charm from the rigorously different ideas of the two about life and work. "

The critics of the television magazine TV Spielfilm give the thumbs up and wrote: "A little homely, but not hopeless."
