The Droude is a river in France that runs in the Gard department in the Occitania region . It rises in the municipality of Saint-Just-et-Vacquières , initially drains in a westerly direction, turns to south at Méjannes-lès-Alès , then to south-east, and after 23 kilometers flows into the Gardon as a left tributary on the western outskirts of Moussac .
