Méjannes-lès-Alès ( Occitan : Mejanas d'Alès ) is a French commune with 1,222 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gard department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Languedoc-Roussillon ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Alès and is part of the canton of Alès-3 (until 2015: canton of Alès-Sud-Est ). The inhabitants are called Méjannais .

Méjannes-lès-Alès is located about six kilometers east-southeast of Alès in the Cevennes . Méjannes-lès-Alès is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Privat-des-Vieux in the north and northwest, Mons in the east and northeast, Monteils in the east and southeast, Deaux in the south and Saint-Hilaire-de-Brethmas in the west.
