Saint-Julien-les-Rosiers is a banlieue around six kilometers north-northeast of Alès on the Avène River . Saint-Julien-les-Rosiers is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Laval-Pradel in the north and north-west, Saint-Florent-sur-Auzonnet in the north-east, Rousson in the east and north-east, Saint-Privat-des-Vieux in the south-east and Saint-Martin- de-Valgalgues to the south and west.
