Bagard is about nine kilometers southwest of Alès . Bagard is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Saint-Jean-du-Pin in the north, Saint-Christol-lez-Alès in the east, Ribaute-les-Tavernes in the south-east, Boisset-et-Gaujac in the south and south-west and Générargues in the west and north-west.
