Tornac is a French commune with 904 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gard department of the Occitania region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Alès and the canton of Quissac (until 2015: canton of Anduze ).
geography
Tornac is about nine kilometers south of Alès . The Gardon d'Anduze river limits the municipality to the northeast. Tornac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Anduze in the north, Boisset-et-Gaujac in the northeast, Massillargues-Attuech in the east, Saint-Nazaire-des-Gardies in the south and southeast, Durfort-et-Saint-Martin-de-Sossenac in the south and Southwest and Saint-Félix-de-Pallières in the northwest.
