Seynes ( Occitan : Sèina ) is a French commune with 161 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gard department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Alès and is part of the canton of Alès-2 (until 2015: canton of Vézénobres ). The inhabitants are called Seynois .

Seynes is about 15 kilometers east of Alès in the Cevennes . Seynes is surrounded by the neighboring communities Bouquet in the north, Belvézet in the east and south-east, Aigaliers in the south and south-east, Saint-Just-et-Vacquières in the west and south-west and Brouzet-lès-Alès in the west and north-west.
