Belvezet is a former French commune with 81 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Lozère department in the Occitanie region .
The municipality Belvezet with effect from 1 January 2017 with the municipalities of Bagnols-les-Bains , Le Bleymard , Chasseradès , Mas-d'Orcières and Saint-Julien-du-Tournel a commune nouvelle named Mont Lozère et Goulet joined where it has since had the status of a Commune déléguée .
geography
The village of Belvézet is located west of the upper reaches of the Chassezac and north of the Lot River and the Mont Lozère massif . The railway line between Mende and La Bastide-Puylaurent runs through the town.
