Saint-Paul-la-Coste is a French commune with 285 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gard department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Alès and is part of the canton of La Grand-Combe (until 2015: canton of Alès-Ouest ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Paulains .
geography
Saint-Paul-la-Coste is located on the Galeizon in the Cevennes and about nine kilometers west-northwest of Alès . Saint-Paul-la-Coste is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-de-Boubaux in the north and north-west, Soustelle in the north-east, Cendras in the east, Saint-Jean-du-Pin in the south-east, and Saint-Sébastien-d'Aigrefeuille in the South as well as Mialet in the south and west.
