Sénéchas is a French commune with 247 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gard department in the Occitanie region (before 2016: Languedoc-Roussillon ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Alès and is part of the canton of La Grand-Combe (until 2015: canton of Génolhac ).

geography

Sénéchas is located about 23 kilometers north-northwest of Alès am Cèze , into which the Homol flows here. Sénéchas is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Aujac in the north, Malbosc in the east and northeast, Chambon in the south, Génolhac in the west and Concoules in the northwest.
