Massillargues-Attuech is a French commune with 662 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Gard department of the Occitanie region (before 2016 Languedoc-Roussillon ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Alès and the canton of Quissac ( Anduze until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Générargais .
geography
Massillargues-Attuech is about eleven kilometers south-southwest of Alès . The Gardon d'Anduze river limits the municipality to the northeast. Massillargues-Attuech is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Boisset-et-Gaujac in the north, Lézan in the east, Canaules-et-Argentières in the southeast, Saint-Nazaire-des-Gardies in the south and Tornac in the west.
