Drunk Driving is an American short film from 1939. It was produced in black and white by Jack Chertok and directed by David Miller in the film series Crime Does Not Pay . The US premiere took place on October 28, 1939.

The film addresses the subject of alcohol and traffic using a story told based on true events . John Jones drinks regularly. One day he is celebrating a promotion with colleagues. When he got behind the wheel while drunk, he had an accident on the way home.

The film was produced as episode 25 of the Crime Does Not Pay series. The series portrayed various crimes or offenses, their investigation and the subsequent punishment of the perpetrators. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer produced around 50 episodes between 1935 and 1947. The production of the series was a consequence of the massive criticism of various groups of the violence and crime glorifying Hollywood films of the 1920s and 1930s.
