The Dschedschora ( Georgian ჯეჯორა ; ossetian Джоджора Dschodschora , Стырдон Styrdon ) is a left tributary of the Rioni in Georgia and in the field of Ossetia .
The Djedzhora arises in the west of South Ossetia on the southern slope of the main ridge of the Greater Caucasus . It flows in a westerly direction. The mountain range of the Ratscha Mountains rises south of the river valley . The South Ossetian town of Kwaissa is located on the left bank of the Djedschora . The river eventually reaches the part of Georgia controlled by the central government and flows into the Rioni on the southern edge of Oni . The Djedschora has a length of 45 km. It drains an area of 438 km². The mean discharge at the mouth is 12.2 m³ / s.
