The Jumgaltoo ( Kyrgyz Жумгалтоо ) is a mountain range in the Naryn region in Kyrgyzstan .
The Jumgaltoo is part of the Tienschan mountain system in Central Asia . The Jumgaltoo extends in an east-west direction over a length of about 100 km. The Kökömeren river valley separates the mountains from Suusamyrtoo to the southwest . The highest peak is the Mingteke with a height of 4281 m . The mountains consist mainly of sandstone , tufa , mica slate and granite . Meadows, juniper bushes and spruce forests cover the mountain range.
