Duane Solomon
Duane Solomon (born December 28, 1984 ) is an American middle -distance runner who specializes in the 800-meter distance .
In 2007 he was eliminated from the World Athletics Championships in Osaka in the preliminary stages, and in 2010 he reached the semi-finals at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Doha .
In the 2012 Olympic Games in London, he finished fourth at the 2013 World Championships in Moscow in sixth. and sixth at the 2014 Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech.
On February 9, 2014 he exhibited in Boston along with Richard Jones , Karl Paranya and Erik Sowinski with 7: 13.11 min the current indoor world record in the 4 x 800-meter relay on. At the Athletics Continental Cup in Marrakech , he was sixth.
At the 2015 IAAF World Relays in Nassau, he won the US 4 x 800 meter relay.
In 2013 he was US champion and in 2011 and 2012 US indoor champion.
