Entnervte Duck (Original title: Duck Amuck ; Alternative title: Character strokes ) is a cartoon by Warner Bros. with the character Daffy Duck from 1953 .

Director Chuck Jones also presents his typical humor in Entnervte Duck . Daffy Duck is badly shaken by his draftsman. He constantly has to adapt his outfit to the changing (painted) scenery. From musketeer to farmer, skier, ukulele player, etc. At some point he freaks out completely and asks who is responsible for the whole thing. The draftsman turns out to be his "competitor" Bugs Bunny .

The TV version of Mein Name ist Hase ( Bugs Bunny Show ) with Dieter Kursawe as Daffy Duck is also available on VHS. Under the title character pranks this slightly abridged version appeared in 1993 on the videocassette Daffy Duck 2 . Although Daffy has his “right” voice here, the German version hardly reflects the excitement and action of the original.

In 1980, Entnervte Duck was part of the movie Bugs Bunny's wild swashbuckling hunt , which Warner released on VHS in 1981, 1988 and 1994. This time Daffy's voice was Erich Ebert, who was a far better version than the above. TV version delivered. In 1999 Warner had it re-dubbed, this time with the voices that had already been used in Space Jam . Gerald Schaale, Daffy's new voice, was very much based on the original, so that one can speak of the most successful German version. In 2003, a version of the Daffy Duck and Piggy Dick Collection , which was minimally changed in the dialogue book, came out on the market, the spontaneity of which no longer quite approaches the 1999 version. In late 2007, a video game based on this cartoon was released.

Awards

In 1999 , Entnervte Ente was included in the National Film Registry , the directory of the most important US film productions from a film and cultural-historical point of view.
