Duncan Larkin

Duncan Larkin (born June 14, 1959 in London , † September 21, 2008 in Vienna ) was an English radio host .

He began his career at Radio Thamesmead , London (today: Time 106.8 ), from where he switched to the station Riviera 104 in Ventimiglia , Italy, and then to Sunshine Radio (now discontinued) in Antibes , France. In 1988 he returned to the UK where he worked for Radio Aire , Leeds .

From 1991 to 1993 Larkin was program director of Riviera Radio , Monte Carlo , Monaco. During this period he also worked repeatedly for television, for example for France Telecom or Superchannel Satellite TV, London. He also moderated the International Television Festival in Monaco. In September 1993 he went to Blue Danube Radio , Vienna, where he a. a. moderated the programs "Playback", "Drive Time" and "Today at Six". After the redesign of Blue Danube Radio to FM4 , he presented the “Morning Show” there until the end. In addition, he moderated a late night show for Radio Caroline South , Seborga , Italy.

Duncan Larkin died after suffering from cancer and heart disease on September 21, 2008 at the age of 49 in Vienna.
