The Durolle is a river in France that runs in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises under the name Goutte Noire at the summit of Puy de la Chèvre (913 m) in the municipality of Noirétable , initially drains in a south-easterly direction, then turns north to west, crosses the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park and flows into the municipality after a total of 32 kilometers von Thiers as a right tributary into the Dore . On its way, the Durolle touches the Loire and Puy-de-Dôme departments .
