The Dutton River is a river in the north of the Australian state of Queensland . It does not have water all year round, but only during the rainy season .

geography

River course

The river has its source on the northern slopes of Mount James in the Great Dividing Range . It flows southwest under Kennedy Developmental Road and continues through grasslands to Richmond . There it flows into the Flinders River .
