Dvir Benedek ( Hebrew דביר בנדק; Born December 29, 1969 in Kiryat Yam , Israel ) is an Israeli actor .

Life

Dvir Benedek was born and raised in Kiryat Yam, most of the time living in a refugee camp. During the First Intifada he spent his time with the Nachal in the Gaza Strip . He then traveled around the world before studying acting at Tel Aviv University , which he graduated in 1997. 1999 Benedek debuted in Isaac Zepel Yeshuruns Drama Zman Avir alongside Dana Ivgy , Moshe Ivgy and Jenya Dodina , and Dror Shaul's TV comedy Mivtza Savta alongside Rami Heuberger and Rosina Kambus on the canvas. For the portrayal of Aharon in the sports comedy A Matter of Size , Benedek was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the 2009 Israeli film prize Ophir Award . In 2010 he played the boss Avi Meshulam in the series HaMisrad , the Israeli version of the television series The Office , which is now broadcast in many languages ​​and countries, known in Germany as Stromberg .
