action

The film episodically shows the story of three migrant workers as they cope with everyday life in Israel in illegality .

To support her family in Ukraine, Jana and other women are smuggled into Israel to work as prostitutes. But since she has a birthmark on her face, she is not used and has to work as a cleaner. Since there is not enough money up front and back, she tries to work as a prostitute. In doing so, she gets closer to ex-police officer Franco, who smuggled her and the women on. Franco has a gambling problem, which is why he had to quit his job and now, in order to maintain the appearance of a middle-class existence with a family, works in the red light district. He now comes closer to Jana, and they both fall in love.

Vissit from Thailand works on Zeltzer's farm in the Arava desert. He would like the Thai royal family to visit Israel. To improve his supper he goes hunting illegally, where he is caught and arrested by Aloni, who works for him in the nature reserve. However, since Zeltzer does not want to do without his best man, he buys him again, whereby he learns from Vissit out of gratitude that Zeltzer's wife is having an affair with Aloni.

Eddie, a Filipino geriatric nurse, takes care of Aloni's sick father. Together with his wife Nenny, who also works in Israel, he wants a child. But to do this, he has to get money for an expensive medical procedure. After he has just overcome his gambling addiction, he decides to earn the money in a gaming room in the red light district.
