Dytjatky ( Ukrainian Дитятки , Russian Дитятки Ditjatki ) is a village in the north of the Ukrainian Oblast of Kiev with about 570 inhabitants (2001).

The village is located at an altitude of 126  m on the edge of the Chernobyl exclusion zone , 33 km northeast of the Ivankiv district center and about 110 km north of the Kiev oblast center .

Dytjatky is the administrative center of the 38 km² district council of the same name in the center of Ivankiv Raion , which also includes the villages of Soryn ( Зорин , ) with about 300 inhabitants and Frusyniwka ( Фрузинівка , ) with about 140 inhabitants. The village had a population of 852 people in 1970 and was in Chornobyl Raion until the end of 1988, which was added to Ivankiv Raion almost deserted due to the 1986 Chernobyl nuclear disaster .

Dytjatky checkpoint

The regional road P-56 runs through the village , on which there is a control station in Dytjatky for entry into the exclusion zone. An information and shopping center for visitors to the exclusion zone was opened here in the summer of 2017. Since the end of 2019, the checkpoint, which is the main entry point for all visitors to the exclusion zone and is sometimes passed by more than a thousand people every day, has been expanded to promote the development of tourism in the exclusion zone.
