E. Max Frye

Eric Max Frye (* 1956 in Oregon ) is an American screenwriter and film director . At the 2015 Academy Awards , he and Dan Futterman were nominated for an Oscar for the script for Foxcatcher .

Life

E. Max Frye grew up in Eugene , Oregon. He attended Lewis & Clark College in Portland and moved to Europe after a year. There he lived in Paris and made his living as a model in Austria. After returning to the United States, he studied at New York University Film School .

Among other things, Frye wrote the screenplay for Dangerous Girlfriend . His only directorial work so far was for the film Amos & Andrew - Zwei almost perfect chaots .

He is also one of the writers of the miniseries Band of Brothers .
