Dan Futterman

Dan Futterman (born June 8, 1967 in Silver Spring , Maryland ) is an American actor and screenwriter .

Life

He became known in Germany through his appearances as Vincent Gray in the series For all cases Amy . In 2006 he was awarded various prizes for his first screenplay by Capote , including an Oscar nomination. The film's director, Bennett Miller , and the lead actor, Philip Seymour Hoffman , are childhood friends of Futterman.

Previously, he was mainly in supporting roles in films such as King of the Fishermen (1991), The Birdcage - A Paradise for Shrill Birds (1996) or Enough! (2002) can be seen. In 1997 he starred in the British independent comedy Shooting Fish, alongside Kate Beckinsale .

He has been married to the author Anya Epstein since September 23, 2000. The couple have two daughters.
