eMpumalanga , formerly Kwaggafontein, is a city in the South African province of Mpumalanga . It is the seat of the municipality of Thembisile Hani in the district of Nkangala .

The place Kwaggafontein ( Afrikaans , German about " Quaggaquelle ") was in the homeland KwaNdebele , which was dissolved in 1994.
