ETF Ride Systems BV is a Dutch manufacturer specializing in the development and construction of rides for amusement parks .

history

ETF was originally founded in 1951 as a machine manufacturer for the textile industry. The company has been active in the leisure industry since the late 1990s with the establishment of ETF Ride Systems, which was founded in 1999 as a subsidiary of the ETF Group . The group of companies currently includes: ETF Machinefabriek, ETF Ride Systems, ETF USA Corporation and Sioux Electronics BV One of the company's first projects was to develop a transport system for the Labyrinth of the Minotau ride , which was co-designed with the Sally Corporation . The attraction was opened in 2000 in the Spanish amusement park Terra Míticaopened. The ride consists of several vehicles with laser blasters that move along a set route. Although the transport system was used in many other rides, the company has also developed a railless transport system to expand the range. In 2010 ETF Ride Systems started developing a new driving system for Europa-Park. After a construction period of nine months, the Volo da Vinci attraction opened in August 2011 . The driving system consists of several vehicles, which are hung on a rail above the gondola and where the passengers can control the speed of the vehicles themselves with the help of pedals.

Products

The company's products essentially consist of four driving systems:

• Multi Mover: Is a driving system for dark ride rides that can be driven both on rails (Trackbound) and without rails (Trackless) and optionally offers a movement platform.
• Mystic Mover: Similar to the railless version of the Multi Mover , but with smaller vehicles.
• Panorama Pedal: Is an indoor / outdoor system in which the passengers can control the speed of the motorized vehicles themselves.
• Suspended Flight: Is a driving system in which the vehicles are attached to a rail above and in which the passengers can control the speed of the vehicles themselves.
