Albert Earl Hedrick , also A. Earl Hedrick (born March 2, 1896 in Los Angeles , † September 18, 1985 in Whittier , United States ) was an American film architect .

Life

Hedrick studied architecture at UCLA and then design at a Beaux Art School. He began his professional career as an architect, and in 1930 Hedrick joined Paramount Pictures , where he began as a draftsman. Two years later he started his career as a film architect. Hedrick first designed decorations for countless B-productions, later added a few comedies with Bob Hope .
