East River is a so-called ghaut ( good ), an ephemeral body of water similar to a Fiumara , on St. Kitts , in the Caribbean island state of St. Kitts and Nevis .

geography

The river has its source north of St. Kitts, south slope of Camp Crater . It runs steeply to the south and soon flows into the Caribbean Sea at Old Road Town in Old Road Bay , very close to the mouth of the neighboring Wingfields River .
