EasyPHP is a French company. It has been offering the products EasyPHP DevServer (first complete WAMP environment) and EasyPHP WebServer (personal web hosting) since 1999. It is a development environment for websites based on PHP . The package consists of an Apache HTTP server for processing the PHP scripts, the SQL database server MySQL and the associated database administration tool PhpMyAdmin . The PHP debugger Xdebug is also included. In addition, EasyPHP has an administration interface with which aliases (virtual folders of the Apache HTTP Server) can be managed and application servers and database servers can be started and stopped.

EasyPHP is also available as a portable version and can therefore be executed from a USB stick.

EasyPHP DevServer is released under the General Public License ( GPL ). From this it follows, among other things, that no commercial distribution of developments based on the source code of EasyPHP DevServer is permitted without placing the source code under GPL licensing. This mainly applies to integrated development environments based on EasyPHP DevServer. Any further development based on the source code of EasyPHP DevServer must also be published under the General Public License (GPL).
